Catalytic Fragrance fuel is an alcohol based fuel for use only in catalytic fragrance lamps. Alexandria's fuel is a quality fuel suitible for any fragrance lamp. Any quality fragrance fuel can be used in your catalytic fragrance lamp. It doesn't matter which brand, but quality does matter! Some fuels are heavy scented, and they do not burn well, you will find your stone will not work as well burning them. If your stone is going out by itself, before you place the snuffer/solid cap over it, your stone may need cleaning or replacing.
To clean a stone purchase a bottle of neutral fragrance fuel, this fuel has no scent and will clean your clogged stone. It can also be used to dilute heavy fragrances. Or to clean the air without a fragrance.
Your stone should be replaced, every 250 uses or every year for best results.
